In fact, WP7 went on sale in many places outside the US a month early, and WP8 weeks before the US. Xbox One will sell in other countries after a delay, but it is not like Japan will pull in big sales, and it is better to divert consoles to where they will sell. It is not as if Sony doesn't do the same, just a couple months ago they started selling the PS3 in some S. American country, I think it was Brazil.

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

By the way I was joking about "You are dreaming" because this is real and you are NOT dreaming.

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

No you are dreaming. I did post back when everybody was crying about this DRM thing that Microsoft soon will reverse it or make some changes for better. So no this is very real and we knew it will coming.
I am not happily keep all my 3 pre-orders. Now I am even more excited and can't wait for new Xbox One.
I told people if you want to protest do it with not buying it but just don't go to Sony side and buy their console to protest. Sony PS4 is even worth and they just hide it from people. With this new changes we are all set and guess who is number selling console in Amazon in last 2 days? Xbox One! :)

Re: Adblock Plus Now Available For Internet Explorer

I been using the adblocker on this site so far https://www.fanboy.co.nz/ie.ht...

Re: Microsoft Licenses exFat To LG Automotive, Harman, Continental, & Audiovox

making millions
by licensing. Just like with the 360/PS3 the Sony fans could not stand that there would be competition for their favorite console, and so they had to claim that the 360 was DOA because of Blu Ray, the Cell (it made the PS3 future proof), the 2 gigabit ethernets (one was cut), the ability to drive two displays at 1080p with the two HDMI out (one was cut, and it cannot do one at 1080p), and on, and on. Now we have the whining about drm, tat it is only for TV and not games (never mind that is what Sony made the PS3 out to be - a multimedia machine), claims that the PS4 is so much more powerful. When the Xbox One was leading on Amazon, it was claimed that Amazon is not a good way of determining who is winning. When the PS4 took the lead, the media was all over it, it was proof that people are rejecting the Xbox, and some poll on Amazon showed that 92%, it was absolute proof that te PS4 in the lead. But when Xbox took back the lead, it is once again ignored and not reliable.

It is like Microsoft vs. Apple, anything to make sure Apple looks better. Apple has 30 million Mac users, that is a wild success. But 100 million copies of Win8 sold? They are for computers sitting on shelves, or maybe all 100 million people downgraded, or maybe Microsoft is committing a felony and lying on their quarterly statements. Anything to make sure that people are discouraged from using anything Microsoft produces

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

"POS4" LOL
That's a good one.
2) you need someone fired? They are screwing up every single product launch.
Create widespread outrage with the DRM requirements (the idea was great, but it was put forth as if it was a way of policing and that pissed of users).
Screwed up pricing (all the old timers of MSFT need to be fired, you aint the monopoly anymore and there already enough hate against the company without you adding more. It is not correct to abuse your dominant position)
No launch in India, China, Japan.
US first policy for WP, Bing.... no wonder PS4 is already outselling Xbox.

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

Don't much care, I need someone fired for the bs they pulled today, they took a potentially great console and killed it

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

And you think Mattrick makes the decisions on any of these? MS is probably gauging feedback/reaction and making their decisions based on that. The other thing they need to reverse is the ability to play current Xbox 360 disks on XB1....if gamers cry loud enough they will have to consider it and Mattrick will be given the script to come read to us.

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

And I cancelled both my preorders immediately, don mattick needs to be fired, this is an absolute outrage... this new Xbox one-80 is trash

Re: Microsoft Reverses Course On Xbox One

Yooo is this for real?
